Awesome alien dream. Apparently your dreams have sound. I have tons of supernatural abilities in my dreams, but no audio.
My brother-in-law showed up in yet another recent dream. Not sure why he shows up. I only see him every few years.
Tenjen could dream every night that he's still hiding in that cavity, and not notice his dreams.
I did some further research to find that second-life supports programming code for me to make an interactive tarot reading module. I'm thinking to head there soon for a temporary income as a Tarot reader somehow. I can't believe my neighbor spends $150 monthly on rent there. Well, I know this is the dream thread, but 2nd life reminds me of a dream.
That snorting kittens avatar is wierder than most any dream I've ever heard of. I did have one which tops anything I've ever heard of though. Souls were merging and splitting, flying around, taking on cartoon bodies. It was like living in a twisted amorphous abstract painting, but even the thoughts, emotions, and souls had that quality, not just matter.

Hrm. I think my dream last night was tense, mysterious, and confusing. I might've been on edge from playing pheonix wright up until a few minutes before I actually fell asleep. You think I'd know by now that such activity always leads to truly awkward dreams, like that one G gundam matrix horror wtf dream I had a few years ago.
I actually had a lucid dream the other day. That was pleasant, and I got an idea for another fight sequence within the story I've been cooking in the back of my head but will likely never write.

I’ve been having dreams lately with a cast from 25-35 years ago.
Last night I had a High School dream in which I was told after class that I’d have to take world history again because I hadn’t done any of the homework. We had some corn on the cob in class which I was picking from my mouth afterwards, thinking it might be the metallic purple tufts between the kernels, then maybe some of the hair growing on my tongue, but no, it turned out to be an 1/8” gray burr-fish maggot clinging to a tonsil of one of my under-tongue nostrils.
The second dream fared worse. I was working with Jacques, as Kristal, on repairing Citroëns, and he went out for pastries. I went along after starting some espresso in a star-shaped blue glass carafe, and was much hoping to get in a cigarette while he was parking, so he left me at the intersection near the Del Amo mall. Cars sandwiched me in, and I had no choice but to hop on the hood of a red BMW. I gave a nod of appreciation as it looked like the man was driving me towards the sidewalk, but he kept on accelerating and I had to use me feet aerodynamically to keep my butt on the hood. He kept going finally a mile into some dirt road Rolling Hills maple thicket, his head leaning out the window unconscious-like in what was now a red jeep. As if falling asleep at the wheel he veered off-road up the hillside, and I took that as my chance to hop off, noting the license plate, XOQr. Walking back I passed a squirrely guy with a blond rat’s nest carrying a bow made from a gnarled stick. Another 100’ feet down the road I found myself lying in the maple leaves, with a three foot, ½” thick arrow under my armpit and some guy on the hill above yelling ‘Yee-Haw’.

I can't remember much of my dreams, but a lot of them generally involve my teeth falling out. That's the one thing about any of my dreams that I usually end up remembering. A few have weird incest overtones, which is just creepy. I'm fine with fictional incest, but the real thing is still squick to me. And dream incest is kind of between the two, so...ewww.

The teeth dreams are supposedly common. I only had my first a couple weeks ago after a tooth broke. If incest dreams are common, we probably wouldn't hear about it.

I woke up having some weird dream about fireworks. They were really wierd fireworks; apparently you launched glitter into the sky and had to launch something after it to light it on fire. Weird dream.

I'm trying to write this down before I forget it...
I had a dream last night about finding another world that was connected to this one, like Narnia or that realm in the Neverending Story. I don't remember how I got there. This dream felt like a continuation of a dream I'd been having before. But I got trapped in this alternate world of sword and sorcery. I know that there was some sort of horrible event going on on Earth that made me desperate to get back, so I became a warlock's apprentice to try and learn a way to get home. But there was some sort of catastrophic event tearing that world apart too, man, I wish I could remember what it was! I remember the warlock teaching me methods of astral travel and teleportation, because he didn't really know how I'd gotten to that world either. I remember he taught me to surround myself with a thousand yellow candles and sit on a circular mirror and focus on another place and watch my reflection until it disappeared. There was something else he taught me, something about molding a certain shape out of energy in the air, and thrusting a sword into it, but I can't remember what the shape was or what this magic would do. For reasons I can't remember, I had to flee from my master. I remember being on the run, not only from the calamity that was destroying that world, but from some people, I know not why. I kept trying over and over to cast that spell where you form a shape out of energy and stab it, but I never successfully cast it. Next thing I remember, I was traveling with two other people and we were all fleeing from the catastrophe that was destroying that world. All the creatures in that world were running, too; I remember that there were so many crows all flying one direction to get away, it looked like a creeping black mass covering the whole landscape. Amongst all those crows, I got separated from my traveling companions and got lost in the forest. I knew I wouldn't get out of there in time. At some point I gave up... I ran down this forgotten-looking little road, towards the coming calamity. I looked behind me and saw a unicorn chasing after me, possibly to try and save me, but I just knew it was too late so I kept running. I tripped and fell on my face when the unicorn got close. When I got to my feet, I looked up and saw that the unicorn was just some chick in jeans and a cowboy hat riding her horse down a beaten up trail. That couldn't have been part of the fantasy world. When she rode past me, I looked around and saw that I was back on Earth. The terrain of the mountain was exactly the same, but I was at a recreation park with canoes by the lake and a playground for the kids. Somehow I'd gotten back to Earth, but after all my adventures I'd gotten very attached to the other world and I was very scared that I'd never be able to go back. A friend of mine found me wandering around the park and she told me that the calamity on Earth had passed. Because of the way the two worlds were linked, I knew that meant the other world had ceased to exist. It was very upsetting... That's when I woke up. Wow, the emotion's so fresh in my mind I'm crying as I write this.
I forgot so much about that dream already, but it felt so real, as if it really happened, and I can't stop crying...
... I still can't shake that feeling, like I was supposed to save that world but I messed up and let it slip away...
I just couldn't shake that dream, so I thought about the imagery and people and places in it. The only person that I might've recognized from my own experiences was the friend that told me Earth was okay; she resembled my plump yet gorgeous old friend from Alaska, Jessica, but I don't think it was her. The warlock's place of study resembled Chibi's grandma's house, which I've only seen once, and I do wonder if that's significant because that old woman is a devout practitioner of wicca and you see evidence of it all over the house, from the way she lays out a broom over the threshold and ties scissors above the doorway for protection and sets a tray full of pennies in the sunlit windows for prosperity. I don't think I've ever been to the places I saw in the other world, but the playground where I found myself when I came back to Earth... I know I've seen it before, but I can't remember where it is.
I still couldn't shake that dream, so I went for a walk in the woods to the playground near my home and talked to a crow I met there. I told him about my dream and the fact that a world full of his people had been destroyed. He didn't laugh at me, as crows usually do, but he watched me and listened until I left.

I used to go to places like that in my dreams more frequently a few years ago. Never lost one though. Unicorn and horse must be parallel planes.
Speaking of Wicca, you did get the broom and the black & red cape G-M made, didn't you? She made it for me, but I never wore it once and figured it should be yours from the start, except that I had recently played Dracula in my theater class. Sorry, I still haven't had time to send off the herbs & oils. The major economic paperwork interruption occurred while I was in the midst of that.

... I want to go back to that warlock and learn more from him. The fact that I remember a couple of the things he taught me says something. But the dream is gone and so is he... I've had dreams about going to other worlds before, but not like this one. It wasn't a world of fantasy monsters and talking pancakes. It was a world so much like Earth, with lots of ordinary people. Sure, there was a warlock and a unicorn, but the world was something akin to Camelot, where common folk didn't usually get to see the magic around them but knew of the existence of wizards and fairies and such. In that world, I had been lost and was fortunate to find the warlock who was sympathetic to my plight. He seemed to fulfill the role of village doctor and scientist.
While I was there, I had glimpses of the horrible things happening on Earth. They might have been dreams within dreams, or the warlock might've been scrying my world.
I don't remember ever being in a dream world that got destroyed. It was a violent kind of destruction, too... I suppose it was like the Nothing in the Neverending Story...
I got the broom and cape. The broom is, well, a normal broom, not really the sort I'd use for magic. The brooms you use in magic are called besoms, they're supposed to be made by the practitioner out of seven different kinds of trees. The cape I have is beautiful, but the clasps are broken. I really ought to replace them...
EDIT: I talked to Cly about it. She's one of those people that are rather in tune with these things... She says there are creatures that destroy alternate dimensions and there are three people who defend them, and that these creatures are trying to split those people up. I distinctly remember that when that world was destroyed, I had two traveling companions and we were separated at the last minute...

The first magical dream realm I encountered was a lot like Camelot, sunny rolling hills scattered with oak trees, tent pavillions, and tons of colorful banners. Like all magical dream realms, the key aspect was the sense of magic in the air, where nature was an integral live intelligence, and one knew they could mentally shift events by how they steered their boat in the drifting dream.
The clasps are broken? Huh. I didn't the thing had ever been worn. The broom was first to be used as the disguising end of a bow and arrow (made with several kinds of trees) I didn't have time to make you yet. I then saw A. needed one, and considered carving the handle with a totem of moose, eagles, and such. Either way, hold on to it. Good brooms are hard to find, don't come cheap, and this one should last a good forty years. With that in mind, it might be worth investing in a braided velvet May-pole handle wrap or something.
########### EDIT: I often run into new dream worlds, or even new real worlds when meeting new people.
Edit edit: MY magic wand is a micro-broom, a 2.5" wide Japanese drafting brush which I use for dusting photos, vinyl records, and such.

I forgot to post my recent wierd dream, and now it's mostly forgotten. It took place in the future with a world covered deep in skyscrapers each with several shopping malls. Half the people in the dream were asians who literally had third eyes. I was wondering if I did too but the gals I was flirting with pointed out that there were plenty of two-eyes such as myself still around.

i was with my SO when this cop points his gun at me in a dramatic fashion and is swearing at me to not move.
I'am quite surprised an confused to say the leat.
he does this a few times like i'am not listening to him[ the whole time i've not been moving or doing anything suspicious]. Each time getting angrier and angrier.
Then he finaly tell me to put my arms up.
The moment i do, he screams at me to not F with him and not to move. he repeats this even more and suddenly goes nuts, multiples into a team of more heavily armed cops who blow me to hell.
