I've tried looking those up. The results are... too pretty? I haven't found any references close to the small size of Gerik's boat. The best I've found are cruise liner cabins, and those rooms are bigger than the whole ship in this case.
I wanted to go down to the marina to take some photos, but due to recent theft, I can't get within 50 feet of the boats. I got great photos of the outsides, but the insides are the problem.

For some paintings, like the underside of a harley doing a wheelie, I used to make crude cardboard mock-ups to sketch my perspective with. Yeah, you can't get much tougher than a boat. Still though, like everything else, you treat it as a rectangular solid in 3pt, then sketch in the curves as they deviate from the rectangular solid. The interiors of motor homes might be somewhat useful references too. Actually I can send you interiors of that pirate ketch I made a website for. It was cool, ton's of exotic hardwoods, and full of renaissance decor, red velvet upholstery, and even Venus on the Halfshell painted on the ceiling with the fates blowing the trade winds. The boat was black and red with dry-blood red sails, and when the boat really leaned with the wind, a skull and crossbones was exposed on the hull. I'm so annoyed with myself for not taking advantage of an offer to go out in it. I used to sail a lot when I was younger. I even attempted water-skiing out at sea behind a sail boat. Without instant acceleration though I was just dragged around like shark bait.
