No you can't. That's the saddest attempt at Sonic I've ever seen.
I've been craving to do some doodling myself today, though I just had in mind paisley, art-noveau vines, or hummingbirds.
I like the Berghol style (or maybe just the cheerfulness) but I suppose we won't be seeing much of that since you've already identified it as someone elses style.
Maybe I'll do some drawing tomorrow. The 'doodling' excuse reduces the years of artist block masterpiece project burden.

I loathe my mouse hand. Good game hand but can it create art on a laptop?

My other hand isn't good for drawing either, but I suspect that it could be trained through those direct eye to shading techniques, even if it fails at conceptual lines and lettering. I guess that doesn't help when the issue is drawing with a mouse. I'm also guessing that you're left handed and used a right handed mouse like everyone else.

nope right handed with a dexterous left hand.
my mouse is such that its impossible for a left hander to use it.

Th Sonic one is cute, the second one is certaily different from your style, reminds me o that one artist's work... but yeah. The first one is just plain adorable. XD
