Really? Do they even have a CS department then?

They only have two CS classes... One is painfully basic. "This a folder, this is a file, this is how you move files, this is how you rename files..." The other is a class on programming using VisualBasic.

Wow, that's really bleak, like what i'd expect from most any high school these days. Just our javascript can be found in CS web-design, CG web-design, CA Web-design, and CS javascript classes. The CA (applications), CS (science), and CG/MM (graphics) departments have dozens of classes each. My last college in Santa Cruz was similar.
As I've been saying for a decade, you should go to school here. There are probably dozens of useful classes here you haven't taken yet, and practically free once you've lived here a year.
But, I suppose you need to work first, and that will probably determine the rest of your life.

I don't wanna live in California. I'm sure the university here has those classes too, but I only went to the community college.
Anyway, I'm doing the whole page-by-page thing again.

Oh man. You should at least be doing something with the VCR buttons like onclick=/"currentPageNum++;myImage.src='htp://vvv.thefolder.comicnumber'"+currentPageNum+',jpg'/" where your one variable tracks the current displayed page.
If using a page loader, the code would be more like myImage.src=allImages[currentPageNum].src (where prior code would create the array of image objects and assign their image sources sequentially).
It's really not that tough until you start working in things like morphable loading orders, or testing for load status from other components (like a slide-show or VCR).
I think you ought to work in some basic javascript stuff into pages, learn a few new commands per year, such that you could work up to pasting and modifying my ond other peples code into your pages.
