I just got bunch of late night summer-heat song birds, and thought it quite cool.
Enjoy the oz festering.
Happy 16th. Bring out the black candles.
I've been making headway condensing boxes I haven't visited in years, and repurposing my art-tool suitcases. (the collection of pantone marker pens, for instance, will have to live in a cardboard box now so that I have better access to jewelers files and dremel tools).
Still haven't had time to make my prototype, but I'm getting old accounting and housecleaning chores out of the way at least.

You'd better hurry up with that prototype. You're going to have to pay for the machinery you bought soon enough.
I FINALLY beat Okami. The plot of it, anyway... I still haven't found everything or fixed all the little problems in the world...

Did you ever find that last Cherry Tree? XXD
I've been playing old Nintendo games (Ninja Gaiden 1 is a BITCH!) and haven't been able to work on my projects at home, but at least I've been writing ideas, dialogs, thumbnails, and skecthes for each while at work.
Now I see why some people always carry a notepad with them. Comes in handy for those "Oh nuts greatest idea ever! Gotta write it down before I forget!" momments. XD

Nope. I never found that last cherry tree. XD Nor did I catch the thief that's been plaguing Sei-An City, and I didn't manage to fix Gen's machine. I never figured out how to leave cash offerings to statues or how to open those giant glowing rocks that clearly have treasure inside. I only found half the stray beads. Never found some of the fancy treasures, or fed all the animals, or caught one of every kind of fish.
Don't you love games that are like that?

ick the wisdom teeth thing has been so annoying I've not even been wanting to sit at the computer much since friday morning. Thus, I've been stuck on the basement couch, watching pokemon movies because nothing else was on. Boo. Also, narcotics are lame. How anyone would ever get high on these is beyond me. They just slow your brain down and make you sleepy and slow-minded. But they give you weird sleep habits too. Like twitchy easy-akwakedness. Bizarre. (I'm referring to the narcotic painkillers, of course.)

My work resembles those games. Searching and doing things like cutting opn rocks. The prototype in particular isn't urgent, as I'm confident it will work. What matters is steady progress towards priority aspects, and I have moved towards that. Today was supposed to be my day off, but I just purchased the sundry rusistors, capacitors, voltage regulators, and such I'll need.
Actually it's not my day off. Rather I condensed what used to be a weeks worth of chores into one day, laundry, gardening, defrosting fridge, etc. I was hoping to condense all that into one day, pentupling my output, but only seem to have tripled my output, which means another chore day is needed. I don't want to sacrifice my beauty, art & music, social/hiking outing day, so I guess I'll have to have four day work weeks. I'm amazed at all I've been doing.
The main reason for the prototype is to be inspired by hearing such a thing, and build up skills. Already my first version is obsolete because I've moved up to fiber optics. My first circuits won't be velocity/after-touch sensitive, so I'll have to work on writing chip code and designing circuit boards for that too.
As to those narcotics, those were the choice of 60's parents who had stressful meaningless jobs and wanted to numb out. Their unemployed adventurous kids went the opposite direction with halucinogens, as a reaction against a numb meaningless productive life of producing 16-button blenders. The 60's was the end of centuries of life motivated by pride in work. the beginning of the end was probably the industrial revolution itself. Now only artists and engineers care about their work as their primary life activity. It's a shame, since we still all spend the majority of our lives at work. Narcotics ie downers and heroin are more of a drop out of reality thing than an alternative or enhanced reality thing, suitable only for people disappointed with their life opportunities.
Oh yeah, I had a new idea. Since I was planning to handwire my circuit boards on exotic wood veneer under stained glass, it dawned on me that I could make circuit sculptures (kinda like balloon animals) on the fancy custom models anyhow. They might actually take less room in 3D.

Hmm...
Well, I spent my day doing chores, updating the website, and watching Bridge to Terabithia. That movie wasn't what the commercials made it look like. The commercials made it look like a one of those fantastical journeys into a magical world... The movie was really about a world that existed only in the imagination, and how extremely disappointing yet inescapable real life is.

Yay, I wrote a significant layout for my code. I also figured out several hardware tricks for doing way more yet with fewer components. It's 7am though. Guess I wont be going to the beach to swim this week either.

NO INSPIRATION! GAHHH!
And my writing has been horrible, as of late. I'm starting to get depressed again...

It isn't inspiring to simply re-read your works? When I re-read things, I get ideas for how to write more. It's part of why it takes me so long to write stories these days; every time I want to write, I have to read the whole thing again before I start typing.

It actually is worse for me, for some reason.
However, Chaper 1 is up! READ, DARN YOU, READ!!!

And read I shall. Had no idea Bridge to Terabithia would be that huh, disappointing? On some other news, this has been the longest frikin week of my life, for a number of reasons... (Waiting for Ozzfest with Kiwi, Work being a pain, and me being home alone, among others...) And Sheet, I know very well about painkillers making you all sluggish... EVIL they are! D=

Disappointing? Eh, it wasn't disappointing, I found it pretty impressive, but it was DEPRESSING. Very much so. The ending might be seen as happy, but I think the ending was disrespectful in context.
Well, I've been playing Okami again, because my sister missed a lot of major plot points. The game would have made a fine movie, although just playing the game is awesome too.
