That's an arrangement I wouldn't have thought likely. In Canada they had a combo dirt stock-car race track / drive-in. That made sense.
Bring in more brain rot.

Holy friggin... is that a real part of a real episode?!! It's a part of one of the episodes in "Ren and Stimpy: The Lost Episodes". The creators made a bunch of episodes for Spike TV with ideas that got rejected back in the old show and just brand new shameless stuff. XD 6 episodes total, but some are about 30 to 45 minutes long.

I think they dissapeared because property became too expensive, but I see no reason they can't still have drive-in screens on the roofs of commercial parking garages, when most traffic has gone home anyhow. On the other hand, cars aren't quite as cool to hang out in anymore either. They used to be quite spacious inside, suitable for picnics and hide-n-seek games. That's one reason. The other one is the dawn of VHS, DVD, and video on demand. The logic is, why spend that much money to watch a movie in your car, when you could just watch it in the comfort of your own home?

VHS/DVD duh, Yeah that's got to be it. On the other hand, walk-in theaters are still alive, so that doesn't quite explain it. The difference between the two may be in sound systems. Even if a drive-in had good speakers now which weren't stolen, at the volumes people like to listen at, you'd be getting out of phase audio from adjacent cars. I think some drive-ins answered that by having their own radio station. Wait, that still doesn't answer the phase delay problem. These days they might even do it with podcasts.
Another demise of the drive-in is probably that people don't do things as families as much anymore. At a walk in theater, the kids can watch a different movie or not go with parents at all.

Awesome, carebears and blue meanies. At a party game a few years back, identifying each others secret identity, I was pegged as Mr. Rogers.

The Most Racist Cartoon Scene EVER, uploaded by yours truly. Of course it isn't a hate message against black people, it's more of a humor vid. XP Also, Evil Dead Musical (this one's just a slideshow, though! >_<) As a fair warning, both of these videos contain some swearing, but I suppose it should be okay to watch.

"Treetops and treeforts. Our society has now ended." This truly hits the brain-rot mark. I'll have to view these in small doses if I'm to get much done and still appreciate them.
